Beautifully Enabled, by God’s Design

news from Galen Dalrymple and Medical Ambassadors International

Living in America, it’s hard for us to understand how those with disabilities are viewed and treated by the world. In some countries, those with disabilities are seen as being cursed, perhaps possessed, even considered to be non-human. Shockingly, it can lead to people literally being treated as animals – even chained to a tree outside 24 x 7. In other places, we have heard stories of the those with disabilities being used as sacrifices to false gods in hopes of gaining some favor such as relief from a drought.

We want to offer you the opportunity to attend a virtual viewing of a video titled, “Beautifully Enabled by God’s Design”. It is free – all you have to do is register. Read on for more information:

“Beautifully Enabled by God’s Design” is an awareness campaign for Medical Ambassador International’s (MAI) ministry to those with disabilities, and the work some MAI friends are doing around the globe. Over 1 billion people have some form of disability and over 80% of people affected by disabilities live in developing countries. This combination means they are very unlikely to receive proper health care, education, or employment. MAI is using Community Health Evangelism (CHE) to serve disabled people by combining evangelism with crucial health education and life skills.

Join us for a special virtual event.

MAI and friends will share how disability ministry is advancing around the globe and how you can join this important area of ministry. Join MAI via Zoom on Thursday, February 17 from 6:30-7:15p PST (8:30p CST). Register here and learn more about the guest speakers. If you can’t make it, register to receive the replay. Don’t forget to share this invitation with friends! If you have any questions, please contact Holly Williams at holly@med-amb.org.
